So in the city some people say baby like Babee or hey baybee or even just babe. Now if you are talking about Latinos way of saying baby they might say ninyo or something like that.

 

The term baby or sugar or honey or dawlin’ are expressions that are used everyday in New Orleans. They express friendliness and kindness. Citizens of the city very commonly greet each other in the street even if they don’t know each other.
